Europe with legions of holiday destinations is a great getaway for vacationers from the length and breadth of the world.

Instructions

1

European seaside escapes are among the best of the world’s romantic destinations adding to the charm of Europe travel. With mile-long sandy stretch, balmy ambience, crystal-clear surface and rolling waves, these are the places that most holiday makers frequent to enjoy some intimate moments in the open.

2

From September to October is a suitable season for an escape to any of the European seaside destinations. Here is a brief about some of them to give you a picture of Europe travel.

Santorini in Greece

Santorini in Greece is among the topten in the list of European seaside vacation spots. The only place to have an eyeful of the natural beauty of Greece and make your Europe travel a memorable one. Santorini’s serene and surreal landscape is a spectacle to behold with awe. Showering a spell of fascination are the dramatic sunsets. The submerged caldera, encircled by lave-layered cliffs, is a startling sight. On the north side of the island, the village of Oia offers excellent sunset viewing. On the east side are black-sand beaches with resorts like Perissa and Kamari.

Corsica in France

France is frequented by globetrotters on account of not only its artistic fame but also its seaside beauty. A most dramatic island in the Mediterranean, Corsica is crowned by lofty peaks, and mantled by a cover of green oak, pine and chestnut. Tumbling cascades and rushing rivers are the attractions of this european seaside escape. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the deep waters around Bonifacio. Île Lavezzi, the larget island of this European destination, is visited for its deserted beaches and natural pools. Here, you are sure to get real pleasure of the Europe travel.

Amalfi Coast in Italy

One of the most breathtaking seaside escapes in Europe. The Amalfi Coast in Italy is a 50km long stretch to the south of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Make your Europe travel an unforgettable one with a ride to Positano, the town with the most photogenic beauty asnd a pearl in the crown of the Amalfi coast. The ambience of this Italian seaside is scented by fragrance from the nearby lemon groves. The blurred distinction line between the sea and the sky near the blue horizon adds to the attraction of the place.

Victorian Seaside Town in England

If England is your dream destination, make sure to visit the two seaside escapes, just an hour drive from London. Broadstairs is the Victorian seaside town, just an hour long train ride from the British capital city. It would not be the wise of you to give a miss to it in your Europe travel plan. Broadstairs is the place where Charles Dickens, a famous Victorian novelist, had spent a few years of his literary career. An hour-long train ride from South London makes it to Brighton, one of the most vibrant British seaside resorts in England. Brighton was built as a party palace in the 19th century.

Menorca in Spain

Located in the solitude of tranquillity, Menorca is famed to be the most serene European seaside escape. Rugged and rocky, the north coast of Menorca is filled with scenic coves. The untouched beach and ravines dotting the coastline of this Spanish seaside escape inspire the travellers to discover what can be more adventurous. A visit to Menorco should be a part of your Europe travelprogram.

If it's September it must be Venice: but Europe's film festivals face a new threat
Travel Europe
The Venice film festival not only extends the travel industry's summer season, it kickstarts the film industry's awards season frenzy. For some, that first red carpet of the season may stretch from Italy all the way to the Oscars in Los Angeles next

Travel Europe question by a r: If you are an american citizen, what do you need besides a passport to travel europe?
I’m planning on flying into Britain and then I want to travel to the European Union. Is travel between britain and the EU fairly simple? I’m finding the best priced tickets into London, but I don’t want to stay in England, so I just want to know if its no problem to just cross over into France and travel the rest of Europe.
